Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
Overview
The ICT programmes at Pei Tong Primary School are designed to cultivate a community of curious, self-directed learners empowered with technology tools. We aim to develop every student into a digitally-empowered and digitally literate individual. To achieve this, we equip them with essential digital literacy and technological skills, such as effective searching and coding.
Recognising the importance of cyber wellness, we offer engaging activities to help our students acquire the knowledge they need to use technology safely and responsibly.
Students have opportunities to apply their learning both inside and outside the classroom. They collaborate and use digital tools to co-construct and share knowledge with peers. Through this approach, we aim to inspire our students to explore new ICT competencies and effectively manage their learning with a variety of digital tools and resources.
